Sequoia Springs, Inc was started by Lorraine McConnell in early 2001. An Interior Designer with a client base throughout the Upper Midwest, the Mid-Atlantic and the Southeast. Lorraine started Sequoia Springs, Inc to develop and market original products designed for the home. Sequoia Springs' line of luxury-inspired, pillows and throws continue to be popular to those seeking distinctive, beautiful, and wonderfully functional accessories for their home.

In 2002, Lorraine's husband, Jamie, joined the business. Since then, Sequoia Springs has expanded its' lines to include both home and fashion accessories, with an emphasis on creating accessories that integrate the beauty of nature, using as many natural materials as possible. One of those natural elements: feathers.

“We’ve always had feathers around our home because of Jamie’s fly fishing. We were both amazed at the beauty found in each individual feather, and we've been experimenting with ways to incorporate that beauty into our designs. I started with the pillows then moved into fashion accessories for women.”

Right about the same time that Sequoia Springs was started, Jamie started applying his fly tying skills to creating pearl jewelry, initially for Lorraine, friends and family members. Because of demand, Jamie has since developed several distinct lines of specialty jewelry, using freshwater pearls and other gemstones.
